When summer gets close, parents need to go through all of their summer supplies to ensure they've got everything needed when it's time to go. Summer is a season for lots of outdoor activities, from family bike rides to picnics at the park, baseball games, barbecues, and of course lots of time at the beach or pool. One definite necessity is to have a big beach towel for everyone in the family that will last the whole summer.
1. Easy Identification
Beach towels are something that everyone has and you'll be in places where there are a lot of beach towels that don't belong to you or your kids. That's why it's important that your child has a towel that he can easily recognize in a crowd. That way you don't have to worry about your kids accidentally using someone else's towels and it makes life a lot easier when packing up when it's time to go home.
2. Cute Photo Opportunities
Summer is the season for lots of photos, and your kid's beach towel is sure to show up in those. If you pick a towel that matches your child's personality, the photos will seem much more expressive. Just imagine your sweet daughter in a towel covered in pretty flowers, or your active son in a towel that looks like a superhero cape. Also, when you look at the pictures in the future, you'll immediately remember what your kids favorite things were when the picture was taken.
3. No Sibling Rivalries
When your family just has a random collection of beach towels, your kids may end up fighting over who gets what towel each time you go out. Put those fights to rest by picking a unique towel for each child, and making sure it's one that matches the child's interests and personality. That way each child will love his towel more than the others, which makes your job a lot easier.
4. Stay Warm and Cozy
Although summer brings warm weather, the places where your kids will be swimming may not be quite as warm as you hope. That's why it's important that each child have his own big beach towel. That way he'll have something to wrap himself in when he gets out of the water. And because the towels are easy to identify, there's little danger of someone else getting to the towel first and leaving your child with a damp towel.
